This is a story about a young girl who’s dreamt of walking to the mandap ever since she was a wee little one. Even with though she mapped out her dream Indian wedding in her head, binders and emails, nothing could have prepared her for the massive 500-person Gujarat wedding she’d finally have!

Today we follow Tara Sharma Photography as we head into this multi-day event in Memphis, Tennessee. The festivities kick off with a bridal mehndi celebration at Maharani Rupal’s house. Arch 2 Arch henna artists worked their magic under this lovely fabric canopy, a great idea for DIY decorators!
