There are so many reasons to love Fridays: it’s the last day before the weekend, and at Maharani Weddings, it’s Filmy Fridays! As per norm, I have two back-t0-back Indian wedding films that will surely inspire. First we head to Troy, Michigan to witness an Indian fusion wedding done right!

This video from 3rd Street Films is short and sweet, but hits all the important parts of this three-day ceremony. We watch as Maharani Monisha receives beautiful henna from Mehendi Art, marries her beau Michael in a Christian and Hindu wedding ceremony, and then dances gaily into a beautifully decorated reception hall. My favorite part is witnessing her groom’s anxious face as he waits to see his bride for the first time — so cute!
