Miami Indian Wedding by Salwa Photography
I am so madly in love with this couple, I don’t even know where to begin. Sweet and smile-y they look so incredibly happy to be married, and to do it with such style makes me smile from ear to ear. It’s the vibrant purple and white color palette, the contemporary meets traditional vibe, and personal touches, like handmade table cards by the Maharani’s sister. From their South Indian ceremony all the way to their reception, this destination Indian wedding has been filled with eye candy, and I am so grateful that the awesome team at Salwa Photography was on hand to get every little bit.
From our Maharani, Vaishali :
Cocktail hour was exciting with unique food items including a Mashed Potato & Dumpling Bar. The place cards were sand dollars with the guests’ names calligraphered directly on them.
Reception decor was really amazing as lighting played a remarkable role. We had round, square and rectangle tables with different linens on all. The table numbers were hand made by Vaishali’s sister, Ashvini. A really unique touch was the father daughter dance – Vaishali and her dad opened with a slow song, Guddia Rani, only to launch into a medley of old school hip hop songs – her dad stole the show with his dance moves. At midnight, waiters began serving late-night snack food such as grilled cheese, jalapeno poppers and mac & cheese. The party went on till 2am – extending from the original 12 am end time. The guests just did not want to stop partying.
There was so much love in the room and we certainly felt it for one another but had no idea we would feel so much from all our family and friends – they really made our wedding a memory we will cherish forever.
Congratulations to the gorgeous couple…wishing you many years of love, laughter, and happily ever after!
See you all tomorrow!
