We planned our outfits around the jewelry!  I loved how the jewelry sets were not gaudy but instead very colorful and ironically, quite modern.  Similarly, the jewelry I wore on my wedding day was a set my mother had given to me.  So, needless to say it had a lot of sentimental value.  We decided to keep my wedding outfit in traditional colors but insert a streak of blue at the bottom – an homage to my grandmother’s blue set.
