A Maharani Secret : There is nothing like getting ready for your wedding reception.  After dashing down the aisle, and coming back to the bridal suite full of butterflies, it’s one of the most exciting times in life.  I am completely smitten by these magical images by Nadia D. Photography because they reminded me of that magnificent time and my wedding day scent. Something special, something unique, and something that you can wear a few years later and still have that smell remind you of your own heart warming wedding day!

What scent are you wearing on your wedding day?

Finale for the day coming right up…stay tuned!

We are starting off the day with some bridal inspiration fit for a Maharani.  The teams of Rève.ology Events, House of Raaj, and  Donne Ashlock Photography came together and created this hip, artsy style shoot.  I can’t stop staring at the Maharanis jewelry, especially that gorgeous, round tikka.  It looks so lovely with her hair down, and adds a softness to the black and gold lengha.  So, get your pinning fingers ready, and let’s start this glorious Thursday!

If you love style, we have just the reception coming right up!

Pink, pink, pink is what it’s all about in this gorgeous Philadelphia Indian wedding today.  I absolutely love the bride’s pink and light blue contrast lengha and I especially love the cut of the top – it’s so stylish and completely unique.  Captured marvelously by Joie Elie Photography, everything about this reception is truly breath-taking.  I must say, Event Decorators did an amazing job. The candlelight centerpieces with hot pink petals floating in water is definitely a hit.  If that wasn’t romantic enough, just take a look at the way this groom looks at his Maharani – it’ll surely make your heart melt!

Congratulations to Radha & Neil!
