Before we bring this lovely wedding to a close, we have some more dynamite reception shots by Damion Edwards Photography.  Destination Indian weddings seem to get more and more popular by the minute, and if you take a look at these dance shots, it is no wonder why! I love that the couple blended Chinese with Indian traditions…garba at the reception and a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to close the wedding festivities.  With so many lovely details, it’s no surprise that we have spent the whole day gushing over this one!

See you all tomorrow!

If I could do an Indian wedding re-do, I am totally doing one in an exotic destination.  The decadent combination of vacation paired with wedding celebrations seems like an obvious choice, and for now, while I am only to be a guest, I will be patiently waiting for an invitation arrive in the mail. Luckily we have this simple yet sophisticated fusion wedding from Mexico to marvel in.   Everyone looks so relaxed and happy, and those pre-wedding jitters don’t seem to be anywhere in site!

More fusion fun on the way!

Gung Hay Fat Choy Maharanis!  The year of the Dragon is here, and always look forward to the beautiful parade and festivities that celebrate the new year.  So, when I stumbled upon this destination, Chinese Indian fusion wedding in my inbox by Damion Edwards Photography, I couldn’t wait to get it on the books. Cancun’s NOW Sapphire Resort & Spa provide the dream-y backdrop for the three day event, that started with this seaside Hindu ceremony.    Filled with incredibly romantic details around every corner, this Indian wedding is the perfect getaway!

Now this is a Maharani that has style!  She took me away in her champagne bridal lengha, but I even pinned her cute, silver dress she wore to get ready in!

More coming right up!

If you’re a Maharani who loves bling, then you’ll love this Washington D.C. wedding reception.  Every inch of this reception sparkles and shines from the bride to the centerpieces to the cake.  Captured elegantly by Regeti’s Photoraphy, this dreamy four-tiered white cream cake with red roses has sashes of bling draping each layer.    The dark red tablecloth under the cake and on the reception tables, which when combined with the dim lighting,  adds a very romantic feel to the room.  It even complements the reception stage very well, which features cream and white drapery.  Altogether, this is one dreamy Washington D.C. wedding!

Congratulations to Seema and Vijay!

I absolutely love engagement sessions – like yesterday’s Sweetheart Sunday feature, but what I love even more are couple portraits taken on the actual wedding day!  When a Maharani is in love, it shows.  And it totally shows in these images by Regeti’s Photography.  Both the bride and the groom are all aglow with love and I can’t help but fall for these two lovebirds.   And the perfect complement to her glow is her dazzling magenta-fuschia pink and gold lengha.   With long, wavy hair and tht pefect matching shade of lipstick and churis, I didn’t think it could get any sweeter.    But then it did when I saw her bridesmaids in the most gorgeous green ever!

Finale coming right up!
