Happy Friday Maharanis!  It has been quite a week on Maharani Weddings!  With Diwali festivities, Halloween around the corner, and of course, Maharani of the Month going on, it has been an exciting time!  We are going to start your Friday just right with this gorgeous Austin Indian wedding by Dakine Films.  This Indian wedding is loaded with goodies from the gorgeous venue to the bride’s dynamite bridal lengha.  I am particularly obsessing over the blue orchids on the backdrop of the mandap and the hanging laterns at the reception.  It’s a beautiful  Indian wedding, and a beautiful way to start the weekend!

This Baltimore Indian fusion wedding was a non-stop party celebrating the love of Maharani Emily and her Maharaja Shawn from the baraat to the last song. With over 300 guests in attendance ,it’s a good thing that  Elite Events was on hand to keep the event running with military precision.  And wouldn’t you know, our groom is in the military.  Thanks to the tip top coordination, these pictures are evidence that until the very last song, this party was rocking and the bride and groom enjoyed every moment of their wedding day!

A BIG Congratulations to Maharani Emily and Shawn!

All those beautiful details come together so wonderfully for this special occasion as Maharani Emily and Shawn’s melded two distinct cultures and two families into one.  I’m totally gushing over the photo of the groom looking at his bride in the midst of the ceremony. I just love the way S A Kamath Photography captured these special moments, whether they be candids or posed.  This couple shine no matter what and I can already tell: this is a love that will last a lifetime!

Time for my favorite part of a wedding now… the reception!

In true Maharani style, S A Kamath Photography, has sent us this Maryland Indian wedding jam packed with eye candy – from shiny high heel shoes to uber-sparkly diamond rings!  The close-ups of this beautiful dark orchid purple lengha have me simply dying to see more photos of this Maharani from head to toe.  With such heavy work on the lengha, it was a great idea for her to keep the jewelry simple and elegant.  It creates the perfect balance here and perfectly demonstrates how sometimes, it really is true: less is more.

Be right back with more!

Here is a beautiful Maryland wedding treat just for you Maharanis!  Let’s begin with this beautifully captured baraat.  I can’t believe how well S A Kamath Photography was able to capture so many people w in just one photograph.  It makes me wonder just how they did it!  I love that look of excitement and anticipation captured on the groom’s face while he was getting ready and it is so adorable that he has such a tough, knightly look on his face while mounted high on his horse.  Usually, I’m swooning over the details of the Maharani but here, I find myself totally obsessed with this Maharaja’s teal-blue embellished traditional Indian shoes!

Stay tuned for the Maharani’s entrance!
