Indian wedding are notorious for having tons of guests fly in from all corners of the world.  This next idea takes the last Best of Maharani 2010, Indian Wedding ideas award because it gets your guests involved and provides a memorable, stylish keepsake for the bride and groom.  Love that!

When Tejel, of Ambiance by Tejel, worked her magic at Rajshri & Anthony's dynamtie Indian fusion wedding, she noticed that the couple had friends and family fly in from all over the globe. So, on each table card, they placed a small gold pin and asked all the guests to place on the map.  By the end of the evening, all the guests were mingling, the couple had a glittering map, and a keepsake for life.

This next idea makes my head spin with excitement and my jaw drop on the floor. Prashe Décor’s floral chandelier, has REALLY knocked my heels off and left me smiling ear to ear.  Hung from the ceiling, in the middle of the dance floor, it has a vintage feel that dresses up the entire room.  And, what I particularly love is that it reminds me of an angelic halo, and every wedding guest receives its heavenly blessings.

We are ready to announce the last winner of our Best of Maharani, Floral & Decor, and it was a very tough decision.  We had many, many, many beautiful entries this year, but it was one elegant, understated fusion Indian wedding that really took our breath away.  Sachi Sood, the owner of Partyland Flowers & Event Décor, simply nailed it with this reception. I just love this sharp, elegant black & lime green palette.  It sets a formal tone that is fun and anything but stuffy.
