Indian Wedding Stationary by Anaise
We are kicking off the day with some lovely stationary created by Anaise Events. I know what you are thinking, “Isn’t that the awesome floral & décor studio from Nor Cal?!” Well, yes, it is. But, when an Indian bride just had to have them on a date Anaise Events was already booked, she settle on them doing her stationary for the wedding. This will inspire any Indian DIY bride, and if you arelooking to inject some sweat equity into your wedding, you will love these beautiful ideas.
From Anaise Events :
For the Mehndi we designed buffet tent cards and buffet tags. They matched the colors of the evening (rani & green) with a motif that was reminiscent of the bride’s bandhani-print lengha. Then for the Sangeet we did buffet cards once again, but we designed them around the caravan concept reminiscent of the olden days when relatives came from near and far and trekked to the wedding villiage together!. For the Sikh wedding ceremony, we created sianged for the scarves, as well as, more buffet cards, and we took the paisley design from the bride’s lengha as the basis for the motif. Finally, the reception table card were vintage inspired, and since the bride choose damask linens with lime green, the simple, understated look was definitely the root to go!
If you have a free afternoon, you can easily put together a similar look using some of the supplies from my favorite store, Paper Source. They have oodles of specialty Indian Paper, as well as, tons of specialty paper in all the colors of the rainbow. And, if you need some extra hand holding, you can always attend one of their DIY invitation classes that will teach you to make invitations that are so beautiful, you might want to go into business for yourself!
