This is not the first same sex marriage we have showcased on Maharani.  The first one was the lovely wedding of Tracey and Sapna we featured last year.  This is, however, the first time we have featured two gentlemen.  Whether you call it a union, or commitment ceremony, it is going down as a wedding in the Maharani book!

Vik and David will be married at Knappogue Castle in County Clare, Ireland, later this month. The couple wanted to do a destination wedding so they could share their love of travel with their friends. More than 100 guests will enjoy Ireland's famous hospitality and traditional pub music at a pre-wedding welcome dinner, and the wedding itself will take place in the castle's lush gardens. Vik and David will both wear Indian clothing for their ceremony and reception, and their ceremony will blend both Hindu and Christian traditions. Vik and David were online friends for two years before they finally met. When they did finally meet, they had a great time, but they unfortunately couldn't see other for another two months as David was just moving away for work. Once David returned, they started dating and knew very quickly that they had something special. Dina Douglass from Andrena Photography will shoot their wedding, and couldn't wait to share their engagement session with the fab Maharani audience. Enjoy!
