Tally ho!  Let’s go!  Okay Maharanis, we have an awesome treat for you all today.  We have a fun filled Indian fusion wedding from the great state of Texas, all geniusly photographed by Michael T Regan Photography.  My favorite photographers are the ones that are experts at capturing the candid, priceless moments of a wedding.  And, Michael Regan pulled it off beautifully!  The entire wedding story is told in the twenty or so frames today, but I promise by the end of today, you will still be left wanting more!

From the bride :

I never had any delusions that there was any way I was going to have a small intimate wedding with only our closest friends and family in attendance.  When you have over 50 of your parents’ friends helping with everything (and I mean everything) leading up to the wedding weekend, you can’t really escape the big Indian wedding.   We had our sangeet on Friday, the Hindu ceremony Saturday and then the Western wedding and reception on Sunday.

I’ve always been a little crazy/obsessed with cards — all kinds but especially wedding invitations and programs. I brought a huge file of pictures and ideas that I’d collected with me to India so I could explain exactly what I envisioned.  In the end though, it was love at first sight and my file went into the garbage.  We got the invitations made from a place called Khushii in New Delhi and they were wonderful.  My favorite part/detail about my invitations?  The magnetic clasp.  Not only beautiful and functional, it made the invitation look just like a clutch.

Our programs for both ceremonies were something we did as DIY projects.  It’s a good thing I had so much help!  They did turn out beautifully and were a nice contrast to the color scheme.

More glorious eye candy on the way!
