I have been waiting for about a month now to feature this gorgeous wedding.  The photographer,
Tony Florez
, is such a gem, he put up with my hundred or so requests for “just the right shots”  Our bride and groom wed at the lovely St. Regis Hotel, Monarch Beach, and you will never believe what I am about to tell you.  This entire wedding was pulled off in 2 weeks! I have no idea how the ladies at Pink Rock Events even had time to sleep because the wedding has so much attention to detail, that it looks like it took months to plan.  Jeannie Jeffries, of Couture Beauty was on deck to make sure that Bhakti looked her best while her planners took the reins…

What I love most about this ceremony decor is that it is cohesive. Ever part of the decor is built around Bhakti’s red & white bridal lengha. Her contrasting bouquet adds that simple, elegant finish to her outfit. And the flowers are red, red, red without the bride getting lost in it.  The stage was built for her and her bridal lengha, I mean after all, she is the Maharani!

From Pink Rock Events : This was the quickest weddings Pink Rock Events had put together. Bhakti and Monsterville live in Houston, TX and were having a destination wedding in Dana point, CA at the picturesque St. Regis Monarch Beach. Bhakti called us 2 1/2 weeks before her wedding stating she needed full decor, videographer, rentals and detailed coordination. The first thing we thought was “DECOR in 2 1/2 weeks with a budget” We have never met them in person, don’t have a full understanding of their style …hope we can make this happen and create a wedding that the couple will be happy with. Bhakti wanted orange and gold for the reception and red and white for the wedding.

The first thing we did was call about 30 different florist to check for availability and who could work within our budget. Then came the design meeting. For the wedding we went simple. Draping the beautiful existing structure. Huge arrangements at the head and flower petals down the aisle.  It looked awesome!

Tony Florez is one of the hottest portrait photographers in Newport, and his roster of clients is so exclusive, he can’t even tell us who is on it.  But, I did hear a few rumors, and let me just tell you – yes it is THAT good.

Back tomorrow with a fabulous Friday finale!
