So, when it comes to décor I like white, and I like TONS of color. So, this really puts me in a pickle when I am trying to come up with a new way to design a reception or a living room. Well, that’s where Shadi Paradise comes in, and makes all my wedding design fantasies come true. Take an all white reception and inject it with colored LCDs from every direction. Sounds almost too good to be true, doesn’t it?

We are dedicating the day to talking about the latest trends in color, so whether you are a falls, winter, spring, or summer bride….you won’t want to miss a thing! Back in a bit!

These days some things are done in 2D and then there are things that are 3D. The latest TV screens, and even your iPhone, the images all take on their own shape. 3D is the new way that brides and wedding stylists are thinking about wedding color palettes.  Gone are the days of pink roses with a splash of this and that, and a silver grosgrain ribbon.  Today’s modern desi bride wants a never been done before look that creates it’s own atmosphere.

So, it’s lesson time Maharanis. Here is the thing, the cheapest way to put tons of color into a room is to use lighting.  There is no way to get the coverage without it, and whether your decor budget is 5K or 500K, you must have some lighting.  Take a look at the next two images.  It’s the same room, same everything but the first doesn’t have lighting and the second one does.

I am totally obsessed with the décor that Shadi Paradise put together for this wedding.  This opulant mandap turned reception stage is right out of a wedding fairytale, and I can’t think of a more royal place to say “I do.”  It’s a combination of the strong pillared mandap, the perfect lush florals, and of course, the lighting.  This is definitely one mandap I would love to see again and again.

Admittedly so, I am a fair weather Giants fan who is about to bust outta here and watch the World Series.  But, before we go, we have the gorgeous final of Sadaaf & Shafaat’s South Asian fantasy wedding.  Seriously, I don’t know the last time we have seen such an all out opulent affair all caught by the expert eyes of Events Capture.
