Related Posts with ThumbnailsYou guys are in for a real treat today.  I have been waiting all month to share this next featured wedding with everyone, and trust me it was worth the wait.  Barkha and Arul had an amazing three day wedding celebration that was a wonderful blend of North and South Indian traditions.  They started off with a South Indian ceremony, followed by a Sangeet, then the main wedding day and reception.

Indian wedding blog, ceremony copy

I spend a lot of time everyday looking at Indian wedding photos, but this wedding stands out in my mind because of the amount of thought and planning that went into it.  Our heroine/bride Barkha had every single dingle thing color coordinated in a way that was sophisticated and chic, and never matchy matchy.

I want to give a special shout out to Dina Douglass for capturing these amazing shots. So, what does one of the most sought after South Asian wedding photographers do when she has time off?  Well, if you guess travel to an exotic location, you guess right.  But, if you think that she was sitting on the beach with a fruity drink, guess again. Dina has recently returned from photographing a medical mission in the Philippines. To read more about it, check out her blog.  Dina is completely committed to her craft. Secretly, (although I guess it isn’t a secret anymore) I am always a little jealous of brides who get to work with her, because can you imagine what their albums look like?!

So are you obsessing, or what?!  I mean, how cute is our bride and her mega watt smile?!  Back tomorrow with many more details from this colorful affair!
